50 Years of Toyota Indonesia, Commitment to Electrified Cars
The Japanese manufacturer, Toyota, has not been active for half a century in Toyota Indonesia. That is proof that Toyota’s 50 year journey in Indonesia is quite long.
Toyota is also helping to build the national automotive industry by developing together with the Indonesian people. The manufacturer with the T logo has become a mobility company that offers a complete choice.
Starting from oil-fueled products for the LCGC class, to luxury ones, Toyota has them. Then they also sell a series of products with the latest technology, including electrification, which is currently growing.
In line with that, Toyota is supported by 333 outlets spread throughout Indonesia. Until now it is also available in various digital-based services.
At the age of 50, Toyota in Indonesia is carrying out its enthusiasm to present ‘Mobility Happiness for All’. Where Toyota is committed to providing the best mobility solutions for the Indonesian people now and in the future, according to needs and trends that continue to develop.
“It is an honor for Toyota to be part of the mobility of Indonesian society for 50 years. “We would like to thank you for the trust that has been given so that we can grow and develop together as time goes by,” said President Director of PT Toyota-Astra Motor, Susumu Matsuda, Tuesday (5/1).
According to Matsuda, Toyota Indonesia has developed from a car company to a mobility company. The company is committed to creating the best cars, as well as providing Total Mobility Solution services that suit the trends and needs of the people of the country.
“So that we can always be part of the mobility solution in Indonesia, from now until the future,” he said.

“We are grateful to be part of the socio-economic development and automotive industry in Indonesia for 50 years. “Thanks to the trust given by the public and support from the Indonesian Government, Toyota Indonesia can develop into one of the production and export centers in the Asia-Pacific to the global market,” said President Director of PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia, Warih Andang Tjahjono.
Warih also added that Toyota is committed to continuing to actively participate in the development of the Indonesian automotive industry. As well as being committed to adding local content through deepening the upstream industry.
Including high-tech products based on electrification to support the government’s program to reduce emissions and at the same time meet the growing needs of Indonesian society.
